If you're like me, you've got a number of creative goals, from specific technical issues, to knowing your core hopes and dreams as an artist and bringing them into reality. I have brainstormed workshops and educational opportunities to help you grow creatively, wherever you are in your artistic journey. Come join me and experience for yourself what it feels like when your art and your heart meet!

Workshops in Polymer Clay and Creativity in Polymer
Current Workshop Offerings

Intro to Polymer Clay Beads and Buttons
Beginner level

10 AM to 5 PM with a 1 hr lunch
$55 (each participant brings their own clay.  Class kit and tools are available for additional purchase upon request and first come basis) 

Participants will learn the basics of working with polymer clay; proper conditioning, pros and cons of various brands and formulas, curing, cane making, tools overview, and finishing techniques.

Translucent Layers with Polymer Clay

Advanced Beginner to Intermediate level (participants should have some experience with polymer clay, should know proper conditioning methods and tools overview) 

This can be done as a one or two day workshop.

10 AM to 5 PM with a 1 hr lunch
$55 per day (each participant brings their own clay. Class kit and tools are available for additional purchase upon request and first come basis)

While making a large bead or covered object, each participant will learn how to layer translucent polymer clay to produce a rich depth of surface using image transfers, permanent inks, simple millefiore, gold leaf and powder inclusions, sanding and buffing. also, basic artistic principles to aid students in making decisions as they work with this involved technique. 

Poly-Pods Large Scale Hollow Beads and Forms 

Large focal beads can make a great statement in your jewelry but, if they are too heavy and uncomfotable to wear, what's the point?
While making a large bead or pod, each participant will learn how to create their own reusable, custom forms to create any shape they desire. also, basic artistic principles and surface design techniques will be covered.  At the end of this workshop each participant with have created their own reusable, hollow forms and a large focal bead or poly-pod.


This can be done as a one or two day workshop.  They do not need to be consecutive days.

This is an advanced to intermediate workshop.  All participants must have at least some experience with polymer clay or take the pre-requisite of my Intro to Polymer Clay workshop.

Polymer Bone and Ivory (Beads, Buttons, and Ancient Elements)

Beginner to Advanced

10 AM to 5 PM with a 1 hr lunch$55 per day (each participant brings their own clay. Class kit and tools are available for additional purchase upon request and first come basis)

In this workshop we will take advantage of polymer's ability to realistically, mimic organic materials and ancient artifacts.  Participants will learn to create polymer bone and ivory stock for use in many projects from beads to vessels and anything else.  We will then use this bone/ivory in molds and textures, embelish it with cane slices, and other realistic, ancient surface treatments including finishing with antiqued patina, sanding, and buffing. 

Private Pendant Tea Parties


Gather a few of your friends and book a private pendant party! Each party-goer will create his or her own unique polymer pendant from start to finish. All tools, supplies, tea and refreshments will be provided. 

Please call to schedule your class two weeks in advance. No experience necessary.

2 hour tea party for 2-12 people (12 years and up)

$25 per participant

Pretty hats are optional but, encouraged!
